You need an Energy Performance Certificate for your domestic property in the E17 if you are planning to sell or rent out the property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPC For selling purposes. <\/strong>If you are selling a property in the E17 postcode you must organise your Energy Performance Certificate survey before you market your property for sale. This way the survey will be completed and the EPC issued within the 30 day period allowed. If no Energy Performance Certificate is in place after the property has been marketed for 30 days then it must be removed from all marketing activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EPC For Rental Purposes.<\/strong> All properties being offered for rental in the E17 postcode need to achieve a minimum epc rating of \u2018E\u2019 on the energy performance certificate. As with sale properties you must organise an epc survey before marketing your property for rental.
